Mohamad is incredibly passionate about guiding and assisting people to choose pathways to preserve dignity and counter stigma, shame and discrimination. He has extensive experience in drug and alcohol addictions, supporting individuals with their recovery journey as well as delivering education workshops and family support.

Working in the Mental Health and Homelessness sector, Mohamad has worked with many individuals experiencing trauma, mental health and homelessness.

CALD Auditor, Registered Counsellor and Founder of The Rehabilitation Project – a community based drug and alcohol Therapeutic Community service focused on supporting CALD Muslim men recover from substance use disorders.

Mohamad also works at Neami National Liverpool Head to Health mental health service and was involved in the establishment of the service to create cultural safe spaces for SWS communities.
